About the work:

The so-called anemones and painters’ flowers are delicate early spring flowers, resistant to cold, colored in the most beautiful shades of red, blue, purple, pink, and white. The name comes from the Greek word “anemos,” which means “wind.”
Anemones open when the days are beautiful and sunny, representing joy and beauty, and when it is windy or raining, they close, lowering their head, as a sign of sadness.
I combined mixed media with collage and alcohol ink to bring the subtle beauty and color of this unique flower.
